Clean - Buses are the most widely used public transport mode, but they are not the most favorable solution because they emit high amount of exhaust gases into the atmosphere containing carbon oxides, nitrogen and, as maybe the worst - carbon microparticles (soot). Because of it, electric drive appeared to be very desirable for the environment. This is practically the only way to reduce pollution to zero there where it is the most needed, namely, at the city streets.

Electric energy, as a fuel of future, is clean before all (at the place of consumption), flexible and useful. By means of natural energy sources exploitation, which are renewable, like hydroelectric energy produced by river flows, one more important ecologic favor and strategic interest is realized, because of natural deposits of oil and coal preservation. Smooth running - Among trolley bus advantages, its operation dynamic features should be certainly included, such as: recoilless acceleration and deceleration as well as low level of noise in the vehicle interior and vibrations absence while the vehicle is at the standstill.

Silent - One more ecologic trolley bus advantage are rubber wheels, which make it the most silent vehicle for public transport. According to examinations conducted in Arnhem (Holland), average noise level for trolley bus amounts to 72 dB (A) while 78 dB (A) for bus, at the same regimes and work conditions.

Efficiency - Electric drive is in comparison to internal combustion engine, technically more efficient way for bus drive.

Weight - Non-existance of energy source on board the vehicle brings many advantages: vehicle mass is less, it is possible to provide more space for passengers, and the reliability of vehicle is increased because of less number of assemblies.

Low floor - Modern technology enables production of low floor vehicles, which is possible to adjust the height with, according to station platform height. Because of all of these, trolley bus today stands for highly attractive mode of public transport of passengers.
